Ko Renee MacDonald Cooke ahau.
Kia Ora,
My name is Renee MacDonald Cooke and I was born and raised in Levin. I have been practicing Rongoā Māori for the last 8 years and specialise in Addiction and Trauma, by utilising Rongoa Wai Rakau (plant medicine}, Te Taio {environment), Hinengaro (mental) support and Wairua (energy) cleansing.
I share holistic pathways of Rongoā Māori practices, integrating self care practices as a core foundation to heal self. Rongoā is a way of life and is not just Mirimiri. I teach practices that encourage accountability and how we learn to unravel our trauma and shadow self and heal ourselves through intention, determination and Rongoā Māori practices.
I myself was a Methamphetamine addict and my lived experiences have brought me to my purpose "to be of service to others". Rongoā Māori changed my life. My connection to my Whakapapa changed my life. When we discover that our true potential lies within these challenges due to colonisation, we can unpack the intergenerational trauma we carry and recognise it for what it is and release this, as it is not our burden to carry anymore.
My sessions are intensive but we unpack those layers and acknowledge your inner gifts and just how beautiful you truly are.
