Description
Crisis Support Services for anyone that has been sexually or physically abused. A place of sanctuary, a house of shelter, and a source of comfort for those in need of a safe place. Within the sanctuary a person, or a whānau, will find hope, compassion and hospitality.

Description:
Te Whare Ruruhau O Meri is a Kaupapa Māori service providing crisis support services to anyone that has been sexually violated/abused. This includes:
- Crisis social work support
- Face-to-face sessions
- Advocacy - support and assistance if reporting to the Police, assistance with court preparation or any other social supports/needs that are required
- Support transitioning through to either ACC services or any other support service for care and recovery following sexual violence.
Other services we provide:
Social work - support for whānau by upholding Kaupapa Māori values and practices and any other intervention and assistance that is required for whānau to overcome issues, trauma or hurts in order for them to become the best that they can be for future generations.
