Te Whānau o te Maungarongo aim to develop and enhance the well-being of Māori men, women, youth and children, whānau, extended whānau, groups and individuals in a way that acknowledges their needs and that will give them the opportunity to develop in responsible, beneficial and socially acceptable ways.
We provide a range of family violence education and support interventions.

Specialist family violence services are provided by skilled kaimahi/staff whose sole or main role is focussed on working with people experiencing family violence. Our support includes counselling, group and individual programmes, social work, whānau support services, family group conferences, safety services and protection orders. We support women, men, children/youth and whānau who are current or past victims/survivors of family violence. Violence isn't only physical. It includes verbal, emotional and financial abuse.
