Mercury Bay Community Radiology and Health Trust are funded to provide selected radiology services to patients, when referred via authorised Best Practice GP referrals.

Funded referral services can include: general x-rays, maternity ultrasounds, musculoskeletal.

Not provided at our Clinic:

• Steroid injections
• Mammograms
• Breast Ultrasounds
• Hand or Finger Ultrasounds (unless it’s Foreign Body)
• CT scans
• Artery Scans (unless DVT or Abdo Aorta)
• Leg length views or full-length Scoliosis Xray’s
• Immigration Chest X-Rays

Surcharges apply for some services (maternity and ACC).

All other services are at a cost to patients, including specialist hospital referrals.
