Description

Manchester House is a for-community organisation offering on-demand services in Feilding and its surrounding districts. These include social work, counselling and family support services, budgeting and financial mentoring, parenting support, an emergency food service,  methamphetamine addiction group and a Senior Hub.

Our Feilding based service centres include Social Services Hub, Senior Hub and two cause driven social enterprises, ASAP the After School Activity Programme and Op Shop.

Our Mission is to provide support and services, to empower people with a sense of personal and social wellbeing, to confidently take their place in the community.

We offer a wide variety of activities and opportunities including an exercise programme, computer literacy in collaboration with SeniorNet, Arts for Seniors classes, bingo, entertainment and the chance to connect with others.

Provides before/after school/holiday programmes for primary aged children.

Offers an extensive range of quality, well priced clothing, bric a brac, furniture and also houses a vintage room with stunning clothing and gifts. Donations welcome.

Manawatu Rural Support Service  14 Bowen St   Ph: 06 323 2410
MRSS provides free home based rural  support services and referrals to appropriate agencies for people in need of support in northern Manawatū. 

Staff

We have a dedicated team of Family Support, Social Workers, Counsellors, Financial Mentors, Senior Hub, ASAP and Op Shop staff including  co-ordinators and managers and volunteers who will help you.

Manchester House Social Services and the Senior Hub do restrict clients to those who live in the Manawatu District Council area.

The Op Shop and ASAP welcome all.

Public Holidays:  All four Manchester House services are closed on public holidays
