Cardrona is a family run business with a loyal and caring team of staff.

Cardrona has 35 rest home and hospital beds. At Cardrona our philosophy is to create a home like environment where our residents and their family can feel comfortable and relaxed. As we are a small home we get to know everyone well and this enables us to provide quality care within a family atmosphere. Each resident has individual needs and we work with you to provide the care that is needed.

A positive and professional working environment is important to the overall running of Cardrona. We enjoy our work and a laugh with each other and the residents. The owners are part of this team and work together with staff on a daily basis. Our work place has a fun and supportive environment which is great for staff and residents alike.

There are several lounges and sun rooms where residents can entertain family, participate in group activities or just head up for a quiet snooze in the big comfy chairs. We have recently added in six new shared ensuites as an additional feature for our residents’ comfort.

We are conveniently located a short distance from the centre of Putāruru, with the supermarket just across the road. Cardrona’s expansive gardens with lovely eye catching roses can be viewed from the all sun rooms or enjoyed by strolling through the grounds.
