Description
At Marinoto Rest Home, the jewel in Inglewood's elderly-care crown, there is a deep sense of pride as our dedicated staff strive to provide residents with just that in their home away from home.
It is the only rest home in Inglewood and provides all five levels of care including Rest-Home, Hospital-Level, Palliative, Respite and Day Care. Marinoto is nestled on spacious grounds for its residents to enjoy and was set up by the community for the community in 1971. The majority of our rooms offer ensuites for our residents.
Marinoto has a wonderful team of staff who are experienced and dedicated to caring for the elderly. Our managers and team are available to help residents and their family come to terms with the changes required when entering rest home care.

Rest Home Care - we provide residents with a safe and supportive environment, where they can enjoy companionship, activities, and assistance with daily living, ensuring a high quality of life, whilst encouraging independence. Hospital Care - we're dedicated to meeting the complex medical needs of residents, offering 24/7 skilled nursing care, medication management, and advanced medical support in a warm and homely setting. Respite Care - we provide short-term relief to primary caregivers, offering a safe and welcoming environment where individuals can rest and rejuvenate while enjoying professional care and support. Palliative Care - we provide compassionate, person-centred palliative care that supports individuals and their whānau through end-of-life with dignity, comfort, and respect. Our experienced team ensures physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met in a warm, homelike environment. Day Care service - we provide a safe, engaging environment with activities and social interaction, ensuring a stimulating and enjoyable experience for all participants. We also provide refreshments and a delicious, fresh, home cooked lunch as part of this service. Meals On Wheels - delicious dietitian approved meals, prepared in our kitchen by our experienced cook and his team, that are delivered fresh to the door by the wonderful NZ Red Cross volunteers.
