Ohinemuri is a purpose-built, single storied care centre, that provides a continuum of care and a wide range of services. These services and care are designed to meet the level of help and support you require. 

We care for our residents in a warm, friendly and welcoming community setting. Every resident has a private, modern room with built in furniture - some with en suite facilities. They are encouraged to make the place feel like home by bringing their own things.

As well as long-term accommodation, we offer short stay options through GP referral, respite care, and transitional care following hospital discharge. We have a total of 68 care beds available on site.

Activities Programme
We have an enthusiastic activity team who provide a stimulating activity and therapy programme for all residents at all levels of care. The community are an important part of life at Ohinemuri and are encouraged to be part of the activity programme. Cultural events and spirituality are also aspects of the programme offered. Theme weeks form the basis of the activities which include crafts, games, reminiscence and yummy food. Exercises are part of the daily routine to keep our residents fit and healthy.
