Description

Alison Derbyshire is a NZ Registered Hand Therapist with over 20 years of experience treating people with hand, wrist and elbow injuries and conditions.

Types of injuries and conditions treated include:

Acute trauma – fractures and dislocations at elbow, wrist, hand and thumb
Hypersensitivity
Scars and burns
Crush injuries and lacerations
Sprains and strains
Overuse injuries
Post-operative conditions – tendon/nerve repairs, Dupuytrens, arthritis, carpal tunnel release
Amputations
Arthritis

Alison Derbyshire is a NZ Registered Hand Therapist with over 20 years of experience treating people with hand, wrist and elbow injuries and conditions. Alison comes from Burlington Canada (near Toronto, on Lake Ontario), attended Queens University, McMaster University and the University of Toronto, gaining degrees in Lifescience and Occupational Therapy. Fees and Charges Description

ACC accepted claims: fully funded by ACC, no surcharge for appointment or splinting.

Private (non-ACC approved claims):
Initial appointment: $120
Follow-up appointment: $90
Splinting - additional charges apply
