Master of Science in Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration)

MPNZ, BHSc (Hons), Clinical Pilates Instructor, Strength and Conditioning Coach 
Clodagh is a Senior Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor from Ireland. She originally qualified from the University of Limerick in Ireland with a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Sciences. Whilst studying her undergraduate degree she got an opportunity to work in Australia as a biomechanist with the Australian Olympic Swimming team, AFL and Rugby 7’s players. Here she obtained her first publication on her research into Master’s Athletes. Clodagh then progressed on to work in the Sports Surgery Clinic in Santry Dublin, where she worked with both professional and amateur athletes as a biomechanist, carrying out testing and research on patients after ACL reconstructions, groin surgeries and shoulder surgeries. She has also worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Munster Rugby Developmental set up in Ireland. Clodagh has completed her Master's Degree in Physiotherapy at University College Cork. As well as her interest in the sporting population, Clodagh has a keen interest in the older adult and falls Prevention in the elderly. Clodagh has been living in New Zealand for the past 2.5 years, where she has had worked in private practice, but also at the ASB Classic for the past 2 years with the ATP Tennis Tour players.

Clodagh herself loves Crossfit and has a big interest in Pilates and Reformer Pilates. She is qualified in Dry Needling, Level 1 NeuroKinetics Therapy and has completed the SAFE RUGBY Level 2 course.
