Kirsten graduated from the University of Otago in 2007 and has since practised in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. She has completed post graduate training in Western Acupuncture and completed a clinical Masters in Rehabilitation in 2016. She is also a PINC & STEEL certified cancer rehabilitation physiotherapist. Her ongoing commitment to professional development has enhanced her knowledge, clinical reasoning skills and rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, biomechanics, ergonomics, therapeutic exercise science and complex injury/illness management . Over her career, Kirsten has gained vast experience in an array of different physiotherapy settings, including public hospitals, private musculoskeletal clinics, high- level sport and within multi-disciplinary teams.

Kirsten’s strengths lie in her ability to take a holistic view of your injury and create a management plan that not only gets you back to your pre-injury level of function, but also moves you forward towards optimal health outcomes. Alongside her Physiotherapy qualifications, she has further training in Health Coaching which combines the art and science of behaviour change with evidence based lifestyle medicine strategies (nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress management) to assist you with developing sustainable habits that support both your recovery and health in the long term.

Kirsten loves her job as a physiotherapist and is passionate about meeting clients where they are at and walking alongside them to help them reach their health and performance goals. She is also a mum, wife and business owner so knows first hand the juggle of a busy life and how hard it can be to find balance. Outside of work she tries to make the most of time with her family, friends and the outdoors.
