Lucia is a qualified physiotherapist and has experience with sports teams at local, provincial, and national levels. She has a strong interest in women’s rugby and is currently with Counties Manukau High Performance unit. 

 

Lucia enjoys post-operative rehab and is passionate about exercise-based physiotherapy. She is working toward her post-graduate diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy where she has furthered her knowledge in chronic pain management and movement biomechanics. Lucia offers dry needling treatment and gym-based exercise programs. She has two years’ experience working with Parkinson’s Disease participants in weekly boxing and balance classes and has also worked in elderly rest home care. Lucia looks to empower all people with the tools they need to get back to doing the things they love.
