Active+ Howick has been a trusted part of the East Auckland community for 19 years, providing expert physiotherapy care with a personal touch. Our clinic continues to foster a welcoming environment where clients are greeted by name and made to feel like family. With a team of six physiotherapists boasting a combined 110 years of expertise, we offer one of the most comprehensive physiotherapy services in East Auckland.
We provide expert care across a wide range of specialties, including: musculoskeletal & orthopaedic physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation, breathing pattern disorders, vestibular rehabilitation, falls prevention and ACC Contracts – including concussion care, return-to-work, training for independence and pain programs.

Active+ is delivering the ACC Integrated Care Pathway Musculoskeletal contract in many regions across New Zealand. It is a fully funded programme designed for clients with injuries likely to require surgical review or intervention in three main body sites: knee, shoulder and lumbar spine. Integrated care pathways are designed for the clients to be able to access connected and streamlined care under a fully funded model. It utilises a multidisciplinary care approach putting the patient at the centre of their recovery.
