You will not require a referral to access our services unless you are wanting to see our Sports Doctors/Specialists. To make a booking with the Doctors or Specialists you will need a referral from a health care provider that you have seen for this particualr injury or condition.

Capital Sports Medicine has approved ACC funding for maternal birth injuries. Jen Brennan, physiotherapist and women's health trained therapist can identify and treat a wide range of women's health concerns such as; - Symphysis pubis capsule or ligament tear - Anterior wall, posterior wall and uterine prolapse - Levator avulsion - Obstetric anal sphincter injury tears or tears to the perinium, labia, vagina, vulva, clitoris, cervix, rectum, anus or urethra - Coccyx fracture or dislocation - Pubis ramus fracture - Pelvic floor weakness and dysfunction and generalised pain - Pregnancy and post pregnancy symptoms - Over-reactive bladder (urinary urgency and frequency) - Identification and treatment of prolapse - Rectus diastasis - Symphysis pubis dysfunction - Sacroiliac joint and pubic symphysis pain - Vaginismus - Constipation and issues with bowel control
