Refresh Physio has provided superior quality physiotherapy services to clients in the Wellington region since 2000.

Refresh Physio promotes positivity for physical & mental well-being. We offer a holistic approach, helping them continue to manage their condition post-physiotherapy, with a healthy & active lifestyle.

Our philosophy is to provide the best possible care through a personal, innovative & educational rehabilitation approach whilst encouraging clients to strive for a healthy & active lifestyle after their physiotherapy experience has ended.

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

PELVIC HEALTH PHYSIOTHERAPY for Women & Men - in 2023, Catherine qualified with her Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. For 2024, she is furthering postgraduate study through the University of South Australia towards her Professional Certificate in Conservative Management of Pelvic Organ Prolapse. Whilst working alongside patients' doctors & specialists, she will be fully credentialled for fitting pessaries for women to assist who suffer with pelvic organ prolapse. Catherine works with patients who experience persistent pelvic pain ranging from endometriosis to pain with penetrative intercourse (dyspareunia). Also including topics such as menopause, pelvic organ prolapse, bowel dysfunction, incontinence, pre & post pelvic surgery, pre & postnatal (including maternal birth injuries which are also covered by ACC). There is a lot of input in to exercise advice for pre & postnatal. Catherine also works one day a week with a Gynaecologist fully immersed in pelvic health physiotherapy. PILATES - Group & individual sessions. BREATHING PATTERN DISORDERS (BradCliff Method).
