Hi, I'm Amie and I've been working as a midwife in West Auckland since 2010. With youthful energy on my side and up to date, research based, training (BHsc) I am able to offer enthusiastic, passionate and comprehensive midwifery care. I am proud to live and work in the west and enjoy working with families in this area.

I believe that birth is a normal life event but that it is anything but an ordinary experience for women and their families. I am able to walk beside you on this journey to welcome your baby (or babies), whether it is a natural experience, or one that requires some help or intervention. I have a breadth of experience caring for women and babies right along the scope of "normal" to "high risk" situations. This is your body and your baby and I can help you to navigate through the myriad of choices you will need to make on the path to parenthood.

My commitment is to West Auckland so I birth at home or at Waitakere Hospital.
