Description
MāREIkura Rising in its essence provides different forms of healing practices to uplift, empower and educate Wāhine and whānau by providing spaces that are safe to speak truth and share experiences, that create open and honest healing.
We are registered Rongoā Māori providers with ACC, specialising in Maternal Birthing Injuries and Sensitive Claims. Offering services to aid healing for our Māmā and Wāhine through traditional mātauranga tuku iho using the art and practices of healing.
In partnership we create a hauora plan that involves creating healing spaces that empower and align our clients' needs to support their healing at their pace and in their way. We give options on the services we provide and then they decide what each session looks like. Essentially, it's about our wāhine reclaiming space, reclaiming their mana, reclaiming their sacred places - ā wairua, ā tīnana, ā hinengaro and most importantly ā ngākau.
Staff
MāREIkura Rising has been the creation of Tracey-Leigh Te Paa and her journey over the past eighteen years stepping into her ever evolving path as a Māmā, Wahine Māori and an Indigenous Healer and Teacher.
"My magic power is helping wāhine remember who they are and the beauty of who and where they come from. I hold space that is powerful and safe, so women feel free to go to the dark and beautiful places that only they can go, spaces only they can heal - knowing and trusting that I've got them throughout their process of healing."
Tracey-Leigh is an ACC-registered rongoā māori practitioner.
