Te Amotawa Healing

ACC-registered Rongoā Māori Service, Kaupapa Māori

Today

10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Description

At Te Amotawa Healing, I offer more than just a massage, I offer a culturally grounded healing experience. A space where balance is restored, burdens are released, and you are gently guided back to your highest self.

Whether you are seeking physical relief, emotional clarity, or spiritual reconnection, Rongoā Māori holds you in a safe and sacred space for transformation.

Each session is guided by tikanga, aroha, and a deep respect for the wisdom of our tūpuna. I weave together traditional healing practices, including:

• Karakia - Sacred incantations to open and close each session, calling on atua for protection, guidance, and restoration.

• Whitiwhiti Kōrero - A safe and supportive space to share, reflect, and receive guidance, helping you integrate your healing into everyday life.

• Mirimiri - Gentle, intuitive bodywork that softens tension, restores energy flow, and nurtures emotional wellbeing.

• Romiromi - Deeper, intentional healing to release trauma, blockages, and stagnation held within the body and wairua.

• Oro - The healing vibration of voice, sound, and taonga pūoro, used to realign and rebalance your energetic field.

• Whare Tangata Cleansing - Honouring and clearing the womb space, supporting reproductive, emotional, and generational wellbeing.

Services Provided

Rongoā Māori | Māori healing

ACC Rongoā Māori ACC recognise rongoā Māori as a kaupapa Māori service. It's culturally grounded care that weaves tikanga Māori, mātauranga Māori, te reo Māori, and te ao Māori through all aspects of the service. We respect that these aspects embrace ngā taonga tuku iho (intergenerational gifts and knowledge handed down from tupuna Māori). We see rongoā Māori in the wider context of traditional Māori healing methodologies. ACC don't consider healing techniques from non-Māori cultural traditions, such as reiki or hyperbaric oxygen treatment, part of rongoā Māori. Even if they're provided by rongoā Māori practitioners.
