Robbie Richardson - Pou Rongoā
As a whānau based Rongoā Practitioner, my mahi is to support whānau experiencing injury, mamae and imbalance across all areas of wellbeing including Rongo ā Wairua, Rongo ā Hinengaro, Rongo ā Tinana and Rongo ā Whānau. My focus is to help bring balance, ease, understanding, and reconnection for those navigating challenges that may impact not only their body, but also the wairua, mind, relationships, and overall mauri of a person and their whānau.
Much of my mahi involves supporting whānau who are experiencing the wairua space in ways that may feel unsettling, overwhelming, or difficult to understand. Through whakawaatea, whakawhiti kōrero, mirimiri, karakia and culturally grounded support, I work alongside whānau to help make sense of these experiences and reconnect with practices our tupuna once understood and normalised within every day life.
Over the years, my journey has led me to share with others that they already hold deep knowing within themselves. Part of my role is to help ignite and strengthen that knowing so whānau can trust their puku māori, reconnect with their own healing ability, and learn to whakawaatea, kōrero, listen, receive, and move forward with greater maramatanga, rangimārie and oranga.
