Raised in Te Urewera, as the mokopuna of Rua Kenana, Whaea Kumeroa Gregory is the Lead Practitioner for Te Urewera Tuku Iho Mai.  With a lifetime of matauranga and service to rongoa Māori, clients receive over 75 years of her life's work during each session.  A gifted tohunga and expert, she is now taking appointments to help you on your healing journey.

Nana Kumeroa offers culturally grounded rehabilitation for:

  • Soft tissue Injuries:  Sprains, strains and muscular injuries of the back, neck and limbs
  • Physical Injuries:  Support for wounds, burns, fractures and dislocations
  • Maternal Birth Injuries:  Pelvic floor dysfunction, perineal tears, pelvic and lower back pain sustained during labour (restoring the balance and mauri to the whare tangata)
  • Sensitive Claims:  Trauma Support for Emotional Injury caused by sexual violence:  A strictly confidential service to support survivors of sexual abuse with a focus on restoring balance and mauri to the tinana, the hinengaro and the wairua.  Please be assured, all sensitive claims are received with the utmost care.
