CanTeen Aotearoa

Description

Around 4,200 rangatahi across Aotearoa are impacted by cancer each year, whether it’s their own diagnosis or cancer in their whānau.

Rangatahi don't have to face cancer alone. Canteen is a safe space for rangatahi to connect, share the tough stuff, and get a break from cancer.

Our services are free of charge and available for rangatahi aged 13-24 who:

  • Has/Had cancer
  • Has/Had a parent or sibling with cancer
  • Dealing with the death of a parent or sibling from cancer

Canteen services include:

  • Individual support and therapy
  • Peer support events
  • Therapeutic programmes and camps
  • Rangatahi development
