Enable New Zealand is Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading supplier of disability equipment, information and modification services. They’ve been working in partnership with health boards, governments, healthcare providers and contractors for more than fifty years.
Enable New Zealand provides equipment and housing modifications support on behalf of ACC to everyone eligible in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
Through the Government’s Disability Support Services (DSS), we also provide these services and vehicle modifications, to people with a long-term disability living south of the Bombay Hills.

Staff
Every year our team of 195 are busy supporting or directly managing over a hundred thousand requests for services each year.
We work alongside three national funding organisations, 5220 assessors, 572 suppliers and subcontractors; and thousands of members of our disability community.
The Enable New Zealand Board of Directors is made up of Adri Isbister, Peter Stevens, Jade Farrar, Roger Jarrold and Board Chair Kathryn Cook.
Through their Governance role, they set our strategic direction and priorities, set board policies and management performance expectations, and identify and manage risk. They monitor and evaluate Enable’s achievements to keep our executive team accountable to the organisation and Health New Zealand.
