Headway | Brain Injury Auckland provides an essential service to anyone struggling with their concussion or brain injury.
Through our peer support, navigation and education services we are able to:
- Support and guide those with a brain injury on their journey from diagnosis to reintegration to help them accept a new reality and make the most of their abilities
- Support and inform whānau, friends and employers of people affected by a brain injury so they are better equipped to help
- Highlight and facilitate access to support, services and activities that are available to those affected by brain injury
- Promote community awareness of brain injury and its effects and encourage community support.

Referrals can come from rehabilitation providers, primary healthcare providers or self-refer.

While our navigation services continue to be delivered free to our community, a gold coin koha is requested to assist with the running of peer support groups.

Our team are available to offer navigation, advice, and support from 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
Face to face services are offered around the city at various times. Bookings are required.
Public Holidays: Closed Waitangi Day (6 Feb), Good Friday (18 Apr), Easter Sunday (20 Apr), Easter Monday (21 Apr), ANZAC Day (25 Apr), King's Birthday (2 Jun), Matariki (20 Jun), Labour Day (27 Oct). Open Auckland Anniversary (27 Jan).
Christmas: Closed 23 Dec — 10 Jan.
