Wellness Programme
Poor fitness, mobility and general activity levels for many people with a chronic kidney disease are common. People are often told they need to be more active, exercise more, increase their muscle mass and/or manage their weight through more exercise.
For most people with a kidney condition doing regular exercise can be a problem.
The Kidney Society Wellness Programme helps people find ways to improve and maintain their wellness with suitable exercise and individual support. The programme is delivered by a registered Exercise Professional.
The programme is delivered face to face in the Auckland region, and very successfully by phone/mail/email elsewhere in the regions we cover, i.e. Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Lakes, Tairāwhiti and Hawke's Bay.
