Description

We provide ACC Rongoā Māori as Social Rehabilitation for all New Zealanders for Physical Injuries, Mental Health Injuries, PTSD, Depression, and from Anxiety to Sensitive Claims.

Manaaki Wellbeing

At Manaaki Wellbeing, Rongoā Māori can include:

  • Whitiwhiti Kōrero: Talking can be a way to cope with a problem you've been carrying around your head for a while. Just being listened to can help you feel supported and less stressed. Make time with us so we can help keep you on your healing journey.
  • Honohono: Encompasses the movement of healing energy through our hands-on and above the body. This allows the natural healing process between the mind and body spirit connection to release cellular memories.

We can provide Rongoā Māori in-clinic and via telehealth.

The Manaaki Wellbeing space is where you’ll experience feeling cared for. Our personalized treatments are nurturing, so you will feel restored. Our Studio is a healing sanctuary for you, and we are dedicated to assisting in transforming your story with yourself so you can thrive in life.

See our website for our full range of services.

Services Provided

ACC Rongoā Māori

ACC Rongoā Māori ACC recognise rongoā Māori as a kaupapa Māori service. It's culturally grounded care that weaves tikanga Māori, mātauranga Māori, te reo Māori, and te ao Māori through all aspects of the service. We respect that these aspects embrace ngā taonga tuku iho (intergenerational gifts and knowledge handed down from tupuna Māori). We see rongoā Māori in the wider context of traditional Māori healing methodologies. ACC don't consider healing techniques from non-Māori cultural traditions, such as reiki or hyperbaric oxygen treatment, part of rongoā Māori. Even if they're provided by rongoā Māori practitioners.
