Rats & Masks are available at our Whare (Office) Monday - Friday, 10.00am - 4.00pm

Te Ara Whānau Ora

Whānau ora is a way of working or an approach that uses the tool Te Ara Whānau Ora framework that includes other frameworks such as Tapa Wha, Tuakana/Teina,Whakapapa tools and Whainga. We seek to support whanau so they are self managing; living healthy lifestyles; participating fully in society; confidently participating in te ao maori; economically secure and successfully involved in wealth creation; and is cohesive, resilient and nurturing.

Service types: Advocacy, Family / whānau support, Information, education & support, Kaupapa Māori, Service navigator, Whānau Ora, Kaupapa Māori, Youth mentoring / development.

Connecting whānau to FREE virtual doctor's appointments. Call 0800 4 825 882 (0800 4 TĀKUTA) and you will be put in touch with one of our Kaiawhina who can help arrange an appointment. Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-9pm and Saturday - Sunday 2pm-9pm. This service is provided by Muaūpoko Tribal Authority, Piri'anga Alofa and Practice Plus.
