Description
Omahanui has been a family owned and operated facility since 1972.
In 1985 Omahanui changed its focus to specialise solely in the care of people with Dementia.
In 1994 Omahanui Home Care was started, providing household and personal care services for the people of Taranaki to enable them to stay in their homes longer. By providing care in your own home, we can help maintain your independence and the lifestyle you have created for yourself with the added comfort of a support system in place to assist you.
Omahanui Home Care's service is flexible, providing care when it is most needed. Both funded and private packages of care can be tailored to meet your individual needs and requirements. ACC support care following an accident or fall is also offered.
Omahanui opened a special care unit in 1999 offering dedicated care to people that have suffered a traumatic brain injury. A number of our clients are admitted to Omahanui Special Care Unit for intensive rehabilitation therapies and care with the goal to return home.
