Pacific Homecare is a Charitable Trust organisation providing home-based health services to the Elderly and Disabled community who wish to stay living at home, but who need assistance. We also provide Whānau Ora Family Services for the more vulnerable families in our communities. Our vision is healthier communities in which our people enjoy a better quality of life.
With more than 30 years of experience serving the community, we strive to serve all customers with love, care and professionalism. We take a sensitive cultural approach to our work, respecting the cultural differences, requirements and preferences of all customers.
Pacific Homecare is owned and governed by Pacific Islands Home Care Services Trust Board and provides services primarily, but not exclusively, for Pacific people. We employ more than 200 staff to service a customer base of approximately 1200 families.

These hours relate to office staff only. Our Support Workers' hours range from 7am start to 8pm finish, 7 days a week - depending on the Care Plan.
The physical office will be closed on weekends & public holidays. However, we have a team working in these hours. If you have a query or concern please call the office line on 09 274 9153.

In-home respite care supports the quality of living of the client and their families, whanau and people providing on-going support. These are services funded by the Ministry of Health or the DHB to give carers, family and whanau a rest, and ensure that the person they care for gets the care and support they need in the meantime.

Pacific Homecare’s Tauaaletoa Malaetele (Taua) coordinates the programme along with the help of Pacific Homecare Navigators. The programme aims to allow those over 65 to socialise within their own communities, reducing the risk of social isolation and loss of independence. More information here

The Metua Pakari Wellness programme is a partnership programme facilitated by the Auckland Eastern Bays Kuki Airani Trust and Pacific Homecare for the elderly (aged 65 years and above) living in the Glen Innes, Panmure, Point England and Mt Wellington areas. The programme provides a wellness programme of activities and social events to support our elderly people to enjoy “living longer and living better” with a supportive social and cultural context. The main focus is enjoyment through participation, with a health and wellbeing emphasis. More information here
