QE Health is the Rheumatology Department for Lakes DHB. QE Health provides outpatient rheumatology first assessments and follow ups for Lakes DHB clients. QE Health also provides a number of wraparound services associated with this that include physiotherapy and occupational therapy services for rheumatological conditions with the aim of providing benefit in terms of pain relief, quality of life, self-management of the condition and improved independence at home. Specialist consultation clinics and services are provided to Rotorua and Taupo (Taupo clinic is once weekly based out of Taupo Hospital) under contract for the Lakes District Health Board. QE Health is the Orthotics Department for Lakes DHB. QE Health provides a comprehensive orthotic service to the Rotorua and Lakes region (including a bi-weekly clinic run from Taupo Hospital). QE Health is an ACC accredited orthotics provider and can also see patients privately, without GP referral as well. QE Health manufacture and make orthoses on site to suit the needs of the individual and their condition. Dietetics: QE Health has a contract with RAPHS for clients with a long term condition who are newly diagnosed diabetics or struggling to control their diabetes. Referral is through the RAPHS Long Term Conditions Group. Dietetics can also be accessed privately - no referral required, phone for an appointment. QE Health also offer Green Prescriptions - a low cost gym membership for those clients referred by their doctor.

Known for our wellness treatment for individuals, we can now offer your organisation comprehensive treatment options to cover all your needs.
