Description

The St John Health Shuttle is a community service that transports people to essential medical and health-related appointments, and then brings them home again.

We operate a shuttle service in Rotorua and Taupō.

There is no age restriction for this service. (Under 16 years old need to travel with a parent or guardian) We do not transport children under 7 years old.

This is a door to door service. We are a koha based service

We have a closed down period between 17 December and 13 January 2025
You can make bookings from the 6th January 2025, shuttles start 13 January 2025

First appointment time is 0830 and last appointment time is 1500

Appointments need to be made at least 24 hours before the appointment

(No bookings taken on the day)

We rely on donations to keep the Health Shuttles operating

Mon – Fri	8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

The shuttle picks people up half an hour before the appointment.

Bookings are required with at least 24 hours notice.

Public Holidays: Closed Auckland Anniversary (27 Jan), Waitangi Day (6 Feb), Good Friday (18 Apr), Easter Sunday (20 Apr), Easter Monday (21 Apr), ANZAC Day (25 Apr), King's Birthday (2 Jun), Matariki (20 Jun), Labour Day (27 Oct).
Christmas: Closed 23 Dec — 5 Jan. Open 6 Jan — 10 Jan.
