Description

Te Roopu Waiora Trust is a kaupapa Māori Organisation founded and governed by whānau with physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities. We provide accessibility information and advice to our communities, government and service providers as well as assisting whānau access Māori communities and a broad range of services.

We provide:

  •   information about accessibility services and supports
  •   wānanga for whānau to share their aspirations
  •   wānanga for providers to improve service engagement
  •   a safe and welcoming environment
  •   knowledge about Māori accessibility issues
  •   network links and contacts
  •   community research and planning
  •   Māori accessibility awareness
