Immunisation is the safest and most effective way to provide protection for you and your tamariki’s health. For more information view the NZ immunisation schedule. Immunisations - Our clinical team offer a number of immunisation programmes including Childhood Immunisations, MMR and the Flu vaccine. You can access these immunisations via one of our regular drop in clinics. Read more here

My Health Myself - A group-based, six-week course with other like-minded people wanting to learn more about managing their long term condition. Read more here Long Term Conditions Nurses - LTC nurses support people living with long-term conditions to gain and grow the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to manage their symptoms. Read more here Better Breathing Programme - A 10 week group programme for people living with chronic respiratory conditions such as COPD and chronic asthma. Read more here

Retinal Screening Service – People with diabetes are at risk of developing eye damage called diabetic retinopathy. When a person has been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, the General Practice Team will refer them to an Optometrist to monitor any changes. This examination should be completed every 2 to 3 years. Health screening tests check for health conditions or early warning signs of disease.

Read more here Physical Activity Service - A supervised individual exercise programme to assist people to use exercise and other lifestyle changes to improve their wellbeing (both in energy levels and confidence). Read more here Diabetes Podiatry Service - People with diabetes have a high risk of foot ulcers and other complications. The Diabetes Podiatry Service checks how well you can feel your feet, check for any areas that may be in danger of ulceration and test the blood supply to your legs and feet.
