The service provides, but is not limited to, screening and early or brief intervention. We will provide a comprehensive clinical and support assessment for counselling and or rehabilitation services. We aim to: provide a culturally appropriate service that meets the need of the client in the environment which meets their needs. Our counselling approach is based on transformational change, therefore developing harm reduction strategies and plans, education and support for the client.

We provide social work services to the following schools: Matahi, Waimana, Ruātoki, Tāwera, Nukuhou and Ruatāhuna Kura. We aim to: engage with tamariki and their whānau for those tamariki who are having difficulties attending and or engaging in school. Some of those issues may be related to behavioural issues, grief & loss, social and economic needs or some parenting advice and support. We aim to: engage with tamariki and their whānau for those tamariki who are having difficulties attending and or engaging in school. Some of those issues may be related to behavioural issues, grief & loss, social and economic needs or some parenting advice and support.
