Tui Ora - Community and Cultural Services

Services Provided

Tamariki Ora / Well Child Nursing:

This is a free, mobile service operating in Mōkau, Waitara, Inglewood, Coastal Taranaki and New Plymouth. We help all whānau with tamariki/children aged from 6 weeks to 4 years, working alongside them so they can find their way forward on any issues around parenting and childcare. We provide Well Child checks, whānau support and information, as well as offering advice on nutrition, breastfeeding, immunisation, sleep and baby's growth.

In addition, we can immunise children at home if whānau are not able to get to their GP. Care continues through to free B4 School checks with hearing and vision tests, early dental care, registration with dental services, as well as information and advocacy.
