Description
Well Women is a Peer Support Group. We support women and their families in South Auckland who are experiencing Antenatal or Postnatal Distress and Anxiety. We focus on wellness and resilience, using a holistic approach. Any woman who feels they need some support is welcome to get in touch with us.
We assist women who are affected by other mental health disorders that are worsened during pregnancy and motherhood, including anxiety disorders and PTSD.
We offer women across South Auckland peer support, telephone support, childcare (while women attend groups) and one on one support.
Our weekly peer support groups are held online, with physical groups in Pukekohe, Papakura and Manurewa. They are a safe environment for women to connect with others who may be experiencing similar feelings. Our services help women on their journey to becoming well again and empower them to take back their lives.
If you feel that you need our support then please contact us by phone/text 021 1588 134, email referral@wellwomen.org.nz or via our Facebook page www.facebook.com/wellwomentrust/
