Kōkiri Marae Māori Women's Refuge provides support, education and information to wahine and tamariki affected by Family Violence.
Our services include:
- 24 hour Crisis line support
- Safety planning for wahine and their tamariki
- Whānau Protect - National Home Safety Services
- A Safe house for temporary respite for victims of family violence in immediate need of refuge
- Advocacy services for wahine and their tamariki (when dealing with police, legal, court, WINZ, housing, doctors, schools and Oranga Tamariki)
- Assessment and referrals to other support services
- Education programmes
