Kōkiri Marae Māori Women's Refuge provides support, education and information to wahine and tamariki affected by Family Violence.

Our services include:

  • 24 hour Crisis line support 
  • Safety planning for wahine and their tamariki
  • Whānau Protect - National Home Safety Services
  • A Safe house for temporary respite for victims of family violence in immediate need of refuge
  • Advocacy services for wahine and their tamariki (when dealing with police, legal, court, WINZ, housing, doctors, schools and Oranga Tamariki)
  • Assessment and referrals to other support services
  • Education programmes
