Abuse and violence support

We provide support, information, risk assessment, help with safety planning, referrals and advocacy with other agencies such as Police, Oranga Tamariki, and Te Whatu Ora, for victims of family violence and their children. This support is offered through our helpline, and we also have a team of advocates in Auckland Central and North Shore that can provide more intensive support for victims considered high risk. We help victims to stay safe in their own homes where possible or, if not, help them access a safe house. Our KIDshine service works directly with children who have experienced or witnessed family violence.
