Description
Awhina Society Trust T/A Taupō Women's Refuge provide a 24/7 means of escape from family violence in the Taupō Community by providing support, nourishment, encouragement and advocacy for families and individuals in need.
The Taupō Women's Refuge works with women to make positive change by working alongside the Awhina Society. A safe house is also available to women and children experiencing the impacts of family violence.
