Description

24-hour emergency response and assistance for children, young people who have suffered sexual or physical abuse trauma.  Counselling services for those affected by sexual and physical abuse.  Therapy for those with harmful sexual behaviour.

Description:

24/7 immediate crisis  & indepth therapeutic help and recovery from sexual harm or physical,  emotional abuse &  trauma & downstream behaviours.

Counselling

The Miriam Centre provides recovery, support and therapeutic counselling for children, young people, adults (male and female) and family/whānau that have been affected by sexual, physical and emotional abuse and trauma.  We work with individuals, groups and family/whānau to address the immediate crisis as well as the underlying issues that contribute to the harmful behaviours. We also work with children, youth and adults presenting with harmful sexual behaviour.
