Description

Counselling services for survivors of sexual harm, family violence or other trauma.  Counselling for those who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviour.  

Ages: Adolescents and Adults 13 yrs+

Region: East and South Auckland 

Description: 

South Auckland Psychology provides free and confidential assessments and counselling support to survivors of sexual abuse addressing the emotional trauma inflicted by sexual harm.  All assessments and treatments are funded through ACC Sensitive Claims and interpreters are available on request.

We also provide support for those who have caused sexual harm to others or have harmful sexual thoughts:

  • CYFS funded treatment for adolescent offenders
  • Risk assessment for adults convicted of sexual offences
  • Completion of ESOs and Parole Board Reports
  • Safety planning
  • Brief treatment and interventions for individuals for whom other programmes are not suitable
We provide many other counselling and psychological services including:
  • EAP sessions
  • Employer Workplace Support
  • Medico-Legal Reports
  • Psychological Check-up
  • Sport Psychology consultation
  • Cognitive Assessments
  • Assessments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Individual and couples counselling
