Support Services, Information, Advice and Personal Advocacy: Responding in person/phone to a range of queries from older people and their carers eg. Advising where to obtain a service, what is available. Providing confidential support and empowerment to older people.

Education: Holding education seminars for the public eg. positive ageing, Enduring Power of Attorney, etc., Information Resources: Providing written materials eg. pamphlets and resources eg. videos and books.

Social Support

Visiting Services: Providing visitors who make regular visits to socially isolated older people in their homes via Age Concern Accredited Visiting Service and non-accredited programmes., Social Activities: We have a Centre where you can come for a three-course meal Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. We also hold events that provide social connection such as Health promotion Seminars, Exercise classes Tuesday and Thursday, Senior Chef cooking classes, Concerts first Tuesday of the month, Theme days, Bowls, Housie, Scrabble. Please contact us for more information about these activities., Van service: Pick up and drop off into the Centre, also day trips on a Monday out of town. Shopping service once a week. Please contact us for more information about the van service.
