Social Service, Abuse and Violence Support

Today

Description

Violence, abuse and addiction are common features in the lives of those we work with and this is directly attributable to the fear, anxiety and insecurity they have lived with for most of their lives, beginning in early childhood. It is in these lives, that Anglican Action work to make a difference.

Anglican Action has been active in Hamilton for over 20 years delivering crucial services to the vulnerable in our community. We are located at Te Ara Hou, where we were instrumental in establishing the village as a hub for social service agencies.

Services We Provide:

  • Kids First Whānau Centre

Kids First Whānau Centre offers a five-room residential space for women who are either pregnant or with children up to 12 months of age. Our priority is the wellbeing, care, and protection of mothers and their children.
