Our Support Group offers a variety of services to the residents of Aotea Great Barrier Island including but not limited to:

- Home help and care for the elderly
- Crisis support including food boxes
- Welfare support
- Counselling
- Youth programmes
- Over 60s monthly lunches
- Home maintenance for the elderly
- Community Worker assistance with WINZ/ACC and referrals to specialist services or liaising with other groups.

The Support Group can often help people that find themselves in crisis, including domestic violence situations. We can also provide a safe house and welfare support and counselling. Home support

Helping isolated elderly people get assistance and caregiving in their homes. The home help scheme involves people going into homes to do everything from washing floors, general housework to laundry and shopping. Personal care is also available where required.
