Inner City Women's Group

Description

We support women through education and empowerment to make good decisions for themselves and family/whānau. We prioritise the safety of women and children, families/whānau and work in a culturally appropriate manner through acknowledging women's cultures to help break the cycle of domestic violence and child abuse. 

We have a commitment to ensuring support groups are accessible to all women within the community regardless of income.

Inner City Women’s Group leads the way specialising in:

  • supporting survivors of domestic violence
  • women and anger
  • offering assertiveness, communication, confidence-building skills and strategies 
  • parenting support for women affected by domestic violence
  • women’s offender support services
