Description

Manchester House is a for-community organisation offering on-demand services in Feilding and its surrounding districts. 

Our Feilding based service centres include Social Services Hub, Senior Services Hub and two social enterprises, ASAP (After School Activity Programme) and Op Shop.

Our Mission is to provide support and services, to empower people with a sense of personal and social wellbeing, to confidently take their place in the community.

Offer a wide variety of activities and opportunities including an exercise programme, computer literacy in collaboration with SeniorNet, Arts for Seniors classes, bingo, entertainment and the chance to connect with others.

Provides before/after school/holiday programmes for primary and intermediate aged children.

Offers an extensive range of quality, well priced clothing, bric a brac, furniture and also houses a vintage room with stunning clothing and gifts. Donations welcome.

Fees and Charges Description

Counselling - fees apply but funding may be available to partially or fully subsidise the charge. Please call 06-3237191 to discuss criteria.

Financial Mentoring - fully funded

Social Work - fully funded

Addiction and ASD Support groups - funded by the community

Emergency food support - funded by the community. Restricted to Manawatu District residents, proof of address required.

ASAP welcome all. Fees are available on the website. Support given to apply for subsidies for those that qualify.
