Description

ME Family Services offers an extensive range of free and professional services to support local families and the wider community. Most of our funding is provided by the Government to strengthen communities, families and help the people of Māngere and Ōtāhuhu live fulfilling lives. Our staff are passionate, qualified and talented individuals who know this community well and are part of its networks.

We encourage self-determination and have a commitment to continuous self-development and regenerative growth throughout all of our services. We are committed to working in partnership with families, local schools, community groups and local businesses.

We are open Monday to Friday from 8am – 4pm Come and check us out, pick up an enrolment form and join our Early Childhood whanau. If you have questions or need help to fill out forms, our dynamic teaching team can support in Māori, English, Tongan, Niuean, Cook Island Māori.

Resource recovery and zero waste

working to create a fully regenerating Mangere Otahuhu through minimising waste of people or resources., provide timetrading opportunities, link families to essential items through resource recovery, Taiao is about the opportunity we take to build our legacy from the resources contained in the materials and parts of the community that tend to get discarded. Waste Regeneration support for our community, our Te Puna Oranga space; to educate, enable and empower the community to reduce and reuse waste, grow food and reconnect with our environment; Micro-business support for families to help them better control their income; a Resource Recovery Room for recovering, repurposing and recycling unwanted items and materials
