Description

PICT plays a pivotal role in building strong, capable, resilient, holistically well and successful Pacific families through the delivery of a number of services aimed at meeting the needs and aspirations of Pacific peoples.  It provides a significant link to Government and non-Government organizations - providing support, information and assisting with the breakdown of any language or cultural barriers.  PICT staff speak Pasifika langauges.

PICT's principal roles are in the areas of Whānau Ora work, social services, Covid-19 response and Pasifika framed educational, social, health, immigration and financial areas including court advocacy/translation - all designed to empower Pacific peoples to thrive.  Will connect Pasifika people to the right services when all available PICT resources and opportunities have been exhausted.
