Description
At PACT we are committed to journeying with young people by providing essential support using preventative and mana enhancing approaches that encourage and empower them and their whānau to reach their potential.
How?
Where possible we build relationships with, and provide support to, the whole whānau to affect long lasting change.
We are primarily focused on one community which is our local community – Papatoetoe.
By delivering relevant content and building relationships in the primary, intermediate, and high schools we are uniquely positioned to make a long-term commitment to supporting vulnerable rangatahi from when they start school until when they transition out of school.
We show genuine and non-judgmental support and care based on Christian principles and seek to emulate the love that Jesus showed to the struggling and marginalised in our community.
We welcome rangatahi into our PACT home/kainga with our own complementary programmes such as a Holiday Programme, a girls programme and boxing.
New in 2025 PACT provides an Alternative Education programme - Te Kupenga.
Staff
At PACT, we have a dedicated and experienced team committed to supporting rangatahi and their whānau. Our team includes youth workers, tutors, and a social worker, all of whom play a vital role in providing a supportive and nurturing environment.
