Description

Skylight’s services and programmes are built on trauma informed practice, with a focus on building resilience. Skylight specialises in early intervention and prevention and offers a full spectrum of care for tamariki aged 5 - 18 with mild to moderate mental health concerns.

We can assist in a variety of ways with counselling support and information appropriate for your situation. You are welcome to visit our Wellington office or contact us via email to receive free information or an e-support pack.

Fees and Charges Description

Some programmes and groups are free. 

Counselling is usually charged at $130 (plus GST) per session. There are some options for funded or subsidised counselling, please contact us for more information.

Support groups and programmes

Skylight also offers a variety of support groups and programmes for people facing tough times including: Waves - an eight week programme supporting adults who have been bereaved by suicide. Heart Song - a support group in Wellington for parents who have been bereaved by the loss of a child of any age. Parenting Through Separation - an information course for parents who have separated or are contemplating separation Travellers - an eight week, in school-based programme for young people to build resilience in changing times.
