At Te Korowai Trust, proudly based in Whakatū (Nelson), we are dedicated to empowering whānau through a holistic, kaupapa Māori approach. We walk alongside individuals and families to strengthen resilience, wellbeing, and self-determination.

Our wide range of services includes:

  • Financial Mentors – providing guidance and tools to build financial confidence and security.

  • FASD Lead – delivering specialised support, advocacy, and awareness for whānau impacted by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
  • Superskills / SuperGrans– building everyday life skills such as cooking, budgeting, and household management.
  • E Tū Whānau Community Lead – promoting positive whānau values and strong community connections.

  • Kairangahau ā-Whānau  – helping whānau understand their strengths and challenges through whānau-led planning.

  • Social Work Support – offering practical and compassionate guidance through times of need.

  • Maara Kai Programme – nurturing wellbeing and sustainability through growing and sharing kai.

We know that reaching out can sometimes feel overwhelming, so our mobile service brings support directly to your home. Our team is here to help in the spaces that feel safest and most familiar to you.

While our kaupapa is rooted in serving Māori whānau, we extend our aroha and services to all in our wider Whakatu/Tasman community

Guided by our motto, tātou tātou – all of us together – we embrace inclusivity and the shared journey of uplifting, empowering, and celebrating every whānau.
